A Memorable Journey Comes to a Perfect Close

Our journey to Beijing has come to a beautiful conclusion.

Over the past few days, we had the privilege of visiting the National Centre for the Performing Arts, performing at the Taihu Stage Art Center, and singing at the Tsinghua University New Tsinghua Xuetang. Along the way, we connected with choristers from around the world and created unforgettable memories through music—memories that will forever be part of NeoVoce Philharmonic Choir's story.

At the Awards Ceremony, the results were announced: NeoVoce Philharmonic Choir was honored with the Silver Award and the Peace & Friendship Award at the 18th China International Choral Festival. These honors are a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and passion that have guided us every step of the way.

Yet the greatest treasures are not the trophies themselves, but the people who have shared this journey together.

Following the Awards Ceremony, we had the opportunity to meet briefly with members of the international adjudication panel. We sincerely thanked them for their encouragement, guidance, and support of NeoVoce Philharmonic Choir throughout our artistic journey.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Leo Li, whose professionalism, vision, and unwavering passion continue to inspire us to reach new artistic heights. Looking back over the past four years, NeoVoce Philharmonic Choir has grown steadily.

From launching the Hearing the East concert series in 2023, to appearing twice at the China International Choral Festival; from performances across Canada, to singing on the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York, and now to sharing music and friendship with outstanding choirs from around the world.

Our journey has never been about moving quickly—it has always been about moving forward, one meaningful step at a time.

This visit to Beijing has brought us far more than awards. We return home with artistic growth, cherished memories forged through shared dedication, lasting friendships, and a broader perspective on the global choral community.

We leave Beijing carrying with us a wealth of inspiration and unforgettable experiences.

Beijing is not the end of our journey.

It is simply the beginning of the next chapter.
